International Education and Career Fair 2020
Between the 7th and the 9th of February, Emphasys Centre took part in the annual Cyprus International “Education and Career” Exhibition in Nicosia, Cyprus.
During the Education and Career fair, a time slot was dedicated to the CONNECTEDLEARNING project, where interested adult educators, counselors, VET professionals, VET students etc. were invited to our workshops to learn more. The Emphasys team informed those present about the project’s aims, products and expected outcomes of the project being developed, as well as the opportunities arising for free training.
The Exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth of Cyprus, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (ΟΕΒ) and the European Office of Cyprus (EOC), in cooperation with the British Council Cyprus.
Overall, the “Education and Career” Exhibition 2020 presented a wonderful opportunity for the dissemination of the CONNECTEDLEARNING project, to a large number of interested people (estimated to be more than 10,000 based the official announcement of the organising bodies).
Event at the Mall of Cyprus
On the 7th of November 2020, Emphasys Centre had the opportunity to organise an event at the Mall of Cyprus.
Amongst the Emphasys activities, the Connected Learning project was presented to a number of young people, who expressed an interest in the project and its results.
Cyprus International "Education and Career" Exhibition 2021
Emphasys Centre participated in the Cyprus International “Education and Career” Exhibition 2021 on the 16th and 17th of October 2021.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth of Cyprus, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (ΟΕΒ) and the European Office of Cyprus (EOC), in cooperation with the British Council Cyprus.
The EduFair is the biggest event organised in the field of education and training in Cyprus as important stakeholders attend it every year. Specifically, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth visited the booth of Emphasys Centre and honoured us with his presence.
The Connected Learning project was presented to young people, students and youthworkers. Additionally, Emphasys Centre presented its initiative, The Learning Hub, which offers free training courses for everyone. Through this initiative, the Connected Learning’s results will be supported to ensure the sustainability of the project and disseminated during its implementation and after its completion
